The fun way to randomly select student helpers
Developed by my son, Ben, to replace Quick Pick--a no-longer-being-manufactured lottery number picker--this playful little toy will make it easy to choose students randomly whenever you need to select helpers, assistants, or errand runners.
Set-up: Open the container, remove the numbers that don't match the numbers of your students, and reattach the lid.
To use: Give the container a couple of shakes to get the attention of your students. Then, turn it upside-down so that you can see the tokens. Since you will see several numbers, you'll have a bit of discretion as to which student(s) you actually call upon. It's not only fun but will also free you from hearing anyone say, "You always call on her!"
Pick-A-Student is about as fair as you can get.
The container comes with 40 one-inch tokens that are printed on just one side.
Bonus: Since you'll never have to open the container, you'll never accidentally misplace any of the tokens.
