Music Playlists

I've received a number of requests over the years regarding the songs I play at seminars during the breaks. And although I can't provide anyone with the actual songs, for obvious reasons, I can at least show you the song titles that are contained in each playlist.

Not the same as receiving the music for you to play, I realize, but a start nonetheless.

Note: Some of the playlists are rather short. Just bear in mind that I only need 15 minutes of music for a seminar break.

Speaking of which, you might want to give some thought to creating your own short playlists for specific activities.

If, for instance, your students are supposed to read independently for ten minutes immediately after morning recess, you could make a soothing playlist that lasts approximately ten minutes. Not only would the music add a pleasant background, it would also act as an independent reading timer.

Music over? Must be time to put away your reading books and get ready for our next activity. And not a word spoken from the time they sat down to read until you began the next lesson. Win/Win.

Note: If you have any suggestions about songs
to add to any of the playlists, please let me know.

Overhead spinner artwork

Here's the artwork for the overhead spinner I use. You'll find a jpg version if you want to make your own custom playlist to project the image and a PDF version if you want to make printed playlists. Just click on the one you want and you'll be able to download the file.
